Hey all, it’s your girl Shannon.
How are you doing?!
I did this sort of post when it was my first anniversary of blogging but I wanted to do another but explain everything 🙂
Here it is: Happy 1st Anniversary Of My blog.
So let’s talk about blogging!
We all have mental health. We all have physical health.
Emotional it’s been hard as opening up personally about all my experiences as I haven’t opened up about my mental illnesses. I wanted to help other people and raise awareness to end stigma what is attached to mental illness and the taboo subject of mental illnesses.
Motivation is a big key to my blogging journey. I’ll be honest with you all. Blogging is very hard. Some people say it’s easy but in reality it’s hard as you have to be a photographer or a editor etc.. All in one. You have to share each blog post when you’ve uploaded a new post. When I am having bad days, I find it very hard to type a post. But when I have good days I feel like I can write posts for hours.
Sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough at being a blogger as I’m not always on my blog 24/7. But in reality, I am a good enough for my blog.
It doesn’t matter how many posts you type or how many followers you have on your blog. You are still a blogger. You are still a blogger if you blog once a month. You are still a blogger if you don’t put fancy pictures on a post.
But, I’ll be honest.
My blog has saved my life. It has made me feel like I’m not alone when I am battling my mental illnesses. It’s my getaway when I am having a bad day.
I want to help people. I want to raise awareness. I want to end stigma what is attached to mental illness. I want to save lives. I want to make people aware that it’s okay not to be okay. I want to let people know that it’s okay to talk about your problems.
Yeah, I’m not a trained councilor or a trained health professional but I’ve got a listening ear and that’s what you need. I don’t judge. I will give you my best advice and will give you the correct advice.
I shall love you and leave you until my next post guys!
Just so you know, it’s okay not to be okay you know, even the happiest person in the universe has their bad days. You can get through this dark hole. I believe in you.
You are loved. You are worth the fight. You are more than your illnesses, you can fight this I believe in you. You are flawless. You are fabulous. You aren’t alone. You are amazing and I’m proud of you all.
You can beat these thoughts. I believe in you. I will always be there for you even if it’s on the internet or email or even in person one day. You are loved. You are needed in this world because you are YOU. You are badass for battling mental illness daily. I care about every single one of you. You are more than enough. You don’t need to please anyone else. God Bless x
