Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope you are all okay and if you aren’t feeling ok. Just remember that’s it ok not to be ok and I hope you can get the right support you need and if you want to talk please remember that I’m here and the correct charities are here to support you.
Today post is all about fashion and body positivity and self-love.
I’m gonna get rid of the snap chat filters because I am me and I should accept my imperfections and I want you to join in on the self-love journey, I want to share snaps of my outfits and my favourite accessory.. AKA My caps!
I had so much hatred towards my body for so so long. But we were born with our bodies and why shouldn’t we love them? Yeah, I’m not size 0 and I don’t claim to be. I wanted to be a size 10 for years on end. I hated the way I looked. But that’s what I’ve learnt with recovery you need to be at peace with yourself before you do peace with your mind.
I am classed as plus size. That doesn’t bother me anymore. I am fat and so what? My medication has played part in the weight gain as it a side effect of taking Quetiapine & Paroxetine and I’m not upset about that because I need that medication to keep my moods stabilized.
But that doesn’t matter. I’m physically healthy even if I have an extra layer of fat. I love my chubby cheeks. I love my thick thighs.
I have off days where I sometimes feel shit about myself and that’s normal. It’s normal to cry. It’s ok not to be ok!
I’m still human. I breathe like you do. It doesn’t matter what size I am. It doesn’t matter whether I have black or red hair. It doesn’t matter whether I have a nose ring or not. Because I am me. I am worth it. I am proud of my body.
If you follow my Instagram. I tend to post some of my outfits there and I’ve been thinking of doing fashion hauls on my blog and Instagram. I’m going to take some pictures of my outfits and continue to post them because it helps me to accept who I am. Plus, I want to help other people in the journey of self-love. I want to build confidence for other people.
So yeah.. I’m going to do some fashion hauls once I’ve saved some cash. I want to connect with you guys. So what brands would you like me to test and review?
I have made a little list already:-
- Fashion Nova
- ASOS Curve
- Boohoo Plus
- Primark (You guys know I love Primark!)
- New Look Curve
- Forever 21 Plus
- Pretty Little Thing Plus
- Yours Clothing
- River Island Plus size
- Simply Be
- Pink Clove
I can’t wait to do these type of hauls!
Till next time folks!
I love you.
Shannon Diana xx
