Hello, my lovely followers and readers of my blog! I hope you haven’t missed me that much! 😉
I hope you are all okay and if you aren’t feeling ok. Just remember that’s it ok not to be ok and I hope you can get the right support you need and if you want to talk please remember that I’m here and the correct charities are here to support you!
I am here today to revisit my first ever post for this blog. (The spelling mistakes ouch!!)
Let’s call it 2017 VS 2019!
I didn’t do 2018 because I just didn’t.
As I didn’t think of the idea until now!
Okay now, so this is the original post down below!
In the beauty industry, there has been a lot of improvements into makeup over the years, new products are being brought out and the products that were already on sale have been improved by changing their formulas etc..
Back in the 1950s my Nan only had boxed mascara and lipstick. A boxed mascara sounded pretty cool as I don’t like the mascara tubes nowadays. I don’t really wear mascara as I don’t like it plus I have sensitive eyes which is a curse! So it’s my personal opinion, I’m not hating on any brand of mascara I just don’t like it.
My least favourite makeup product: (2017)
Mascara has to be my least favourite product because in all honesty I just don’t like it. I have sensitive eyes so I have to be careful when testing mascara if I do test it. I much prefer false eyelashes whenever I feel the need of a little confidence boost!
My Favourite makeup product: (2017)
Everyone who knows me knows that I love eyeshadow palettes. I love them so much because eyeshadow is easy to apply. Blending is awesome as well as you can make amazing different looks with eyeshadow. Whatever mood you are in.
What are your favourite product and least favourite product?!
Ok… So that was the end of 2017 post above!
BRING ON 2019 POST BELOW!
Okay as many of my readers know. But if you are new to the blog after clicking this post. I have problems with my mental health. I have more bad days than good days. I cherish those good days like Christmas. Self-care is a vital commitment for anyone. Sometimes I just love lying down on the sofa and watch makeup tutorials or hauls. Other times, I read beauty posts what other bloggers post. Other times, I put makeup on. Then times I love taking photos of my beauty products and writing about them.
My least favourite makeup product: (2019)
Strobing I hate it! But I also hate contouring also as it makes me look like a clown. Maybe it’s the products. But I am going to try my hardest to get into contouring! I do love my chubby cheeks though!
My favourite makeup product: (2019)
I love mascara! Yes, you saw that right. I’ve fallen in love with mascara. It gives me amazing lashes. Sometimes you get the naff mascara. Where it goes into spider clumpy lashes.
If you don’t wear makeup that’s fine. If you love to wear makeup that’s fine. Makeup has no gender. Makeup has no rules. It’s your face do whatever you want to it.
Be supportive & not judgemental.
I might do one for 2020!
Who knows? 😉
Till next time!
With lots of love!
Shannon Diana xx
